Rachel is an empathetic and compassionate practitioner with a passion for holistic medicine.
Having studied Chinese medicine and with a background in remedial massage, Rachel sees the many functions and systems of the human body and how they work together, in unison to create life-long health and vitality.
Rachel strives to pin-point and address the underlying cause of your symptoms to help achieve long-lasting results with a variety of treatment options.
Rachel has a range of skills including, acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, guasha, massage, Chinese dietetics, Chinese exercise therapy and Chinese patent herbal formulae.
Her extensive knowledge in these areas helps to assist her clients in reaching their health goals in a safe and nurturing environment.
Rachel treats clients with a variety of different symptoms, though having had her own experience with hormone imbalance, Rachel has a particular interest in treating women’s health & hormone balance, fertility and pregnancy support as well as mental health.
Rachel is a nature enthusiast! When she is not treating clients, you will find her tending to her plants, enjoying the ocean or a walk in the rainforest.
Rachel resides on the sunny Gold Coast with her partner Kyle in a home they call ‘the glasshouse’, because it is almost entirely made of windows.
Before choosing to settle on the Gold Coast, Rachel had grown up in many, many places in Australia and even overseas, Abu Dhabi, UAE and Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia to name a few.
Before studying Chinese medicine, Rachel completed a degree in creative and visual arts where she practiced sketching, painting, printmaking and sewing, she still loves getting creative in her free time.
Rachel was a gymnast in her youth and has since fallen in love with yoga.
After years of practice and some time in an Ashram in India, Rachel is currently undertaking a 200hr Yoga Teacher training in hopes to impart the knowledge of this ancient practice in her treatments.
